Hi friends,

My name is Vaidehi Patel.This is my fifth Blog Writing.Today,I am going to tell you my favorite topic : Our Solar System.Solar System have very different Science.

 

 What Does Solar System Means ?-

  • Solar system, assemblage consisting of the Sun—an average star in the Milky Way Galaxy—and those bodies orbiting around it: 8 (formerly 9) planets with about 170 known planetary satellites (moons); countless asteroids, some with their own satellites; comets and other icy bodies; and vast reaches of highly tenuous gas.
  • The term 'Solar System' refers to the family of the sun. 
  • Our planetary system is named the "solar" system because our Sun is named Sol, after the Latin word for Sun, "solis," and anything related to the Sun we call "solar."
  • Our planetary system is located in an outer spiral arm of the Milky Way galaxy.

 

 How Many Planets Are There In The Solar System And Which Are Those ?-

  •  There are 8 planets in the Solar System.
  •  These are-

  • 2. Venus
  • 3. Earth
  • 4. Mars
  • 5. Jupiter
  • 6. Saturn
  • 7. Uranus
  • 8. Neptune
